Rockrose-Hibiscus-Botanical-Illustration—Tea-Towel

Galanthus-woronowii
There’s a difference between botanical art and illustration. Both are scientific representations of the plant. With art, there’s artistic freedom in the depiction. With illustrations, you depict all the relevant parts, such as the roots, leaves, seeds, etc.
Since 2018, I have been an art-loving member of the Association of Botanical Artists. I’ve attended several workshops with members of the association, as well as online courses with international artists. In this section, you’ll find my own attempts at botanical drawing.
